Now more than ever, it is crucial to have national leadership advancing heat pump water heaters. The Advanced Water Heating Initiative (AWHI) is the national voice advancing heat pump water heating. Through 80+ working group meetings, thousands of participants and technology validating research, we address the barriers to heat pump water heater (HPWH) adoption.

AWHI is a member-funded collaborative of building owners, utilities, agencies, state and local governments, manufacturers, engineers, installers, advocates, researchers, and building industry professionals from across the U.S.
