Amanda Hatherly | Senior Manager, Workforce Education and Training, Richard Heath and Associates, Inc
As the Senior Manager for Workforce Education & Training at Richard Heath and Associates, Inc, Amanda brings a passion for developing the next generation of the clean energy workforce and expertise in the instructional design of technical content in multiple subjects.
Amanda has more than 25 years of experience in residential construction, energy efficiency, environmental health and education. Before joining RHA, Amanda spent 11 years at Santa Fe Community College. She served as the Director of the New Mexico Energy Smart Academy and the Center of Excellence for Green Building and Energy Efficiency. Before her career in education, Amanda provided residential construction consulting, including on Home Performance, Green Code and Healthy Homes.
Amanda is passionate about bringing awareness to climate change and supporting disadvantaged and hard-to-reach communities.
Amanda serves on the boards for the Building Performance Institute (BPI), Interstate Renewable Energy Council (IREC) and Energy OutWest. She holds an M.S. in Educational Technology from Boise State University, Idaho and a B.A. in Spanish from the University of Auckland, New Zealand.
